Anyone have one? My children's god parents got one for $250 USD and we play for few hours. Its a physical game. Anyone try it yet?

We have one in our dorm room, its pretty amazing, i was suprise. Zelda is awesome, and i really like golf and tennis on wii sports. You can actually get VERY tired boxing

its your brand new exercise machine, the Wii.

i dont have one, but i probly wouldnt even play it right now, with all the books i'm reading. but ive got to give Nintendo some credit, the Wii has got to be the most innovating game platform ive ever seen.

Wii - Never heard of it? So is it vitual reality game or something with your body motion creating movement in the game? I am guessing this because of the workout comments stated in the above posts....

From what I have seen so far, Sony play station 3 doesn't seem too shabby...That is if you can afford it...

Man, Video gaming has come along way since I was brat kid growing up...I remember mastered gaming boards like Atari and then Nintendo, and games like Pong, Space Invaders, and Asteroids... Games like Pong were so basic on those first gaming machines... Then the classic Pacman game came out and the video craze was on...Now the technology is just sick today...You got stuff like Ipods with mega gigs, laptops that are light as feather and powerful, everything is wireless, bluetooth, etc....Gotta love modern technology I guess....It's hard just keeping up with it all...:22:

I had pong and Coleco when I was a teen.

I hope you still remember this screen:

and the all time classic Pong

Pong was the best as a kid, and I would probably still play that game today......

Wii looks pretty cool from what I just read....It sounds to me like that game can keep todays kids in shape..Cool...

Dude, I also had that Celeco gaming machine growing up...Too funny, I totally forgot about that one...talk about basic graffic's...Ha Ha...

I think Celeco gave birth to games like Donkey kong, etc...There was another game on Atari that I barely remember called paddle ball or something..You have a paddle that you move with a circular knob and the ball bounces to remove bricks from a wall on the top of the screen. The more the wall dissapeared the faster the ball would move...I think I wore out that Atari knob playing that game as a teen.....

I played Xbox360 last year and was blown away by the games...I Must try Wii.....

David,

You can get an arcade game for Football (Soccer to the un-washed:-) from Europe.

It uses force sensors to measure how hard you kick the ball

The machine can run in "penalty" mode where you get single kicks or a playoff where you can challenge anumber of people.

We have one at home and my 14 year old out-kicked me. I think I need to go into training.
