Hey guys,
Im getting down to plumbing my 1uz (fuel lines and power steering lines)
What AN adapter fittings do I need for the fule feed and return lines? Im using the stock fuel rails for now, i believe they have banjo fittings stock?

also (i know this isnt a fuel question, but id hate to start and new thread) what inverted flare adapter fittings do i need for the power steering pump feed and returns?
these are the ones im looking at

Im sorry, I know its kinda a noob question, im sure the info is out there if i look hard enough, but at $6 a fitting I dont want to be playing guess and check...

My suggestion would be walk in with your fuel rails and start seeing what fits.

Personally I don't use AN fittings as I can't see how they are superior to any barbed fitting, except if you plan on assembling and disassenbling the fuel system a lot.

Same goes for the powersteering. I would have the pressure hose made to fit whatever vehicle you have the engine in and and return line just needs the correct low pressure ATF compatible hose.

I dont have access to a good shop that has alot of fittings on hand. The only place i can think of that has a good selection would be lowes but most of them are in bags...

some one just pointed out to me that napa has a database and power steering hose making capability.... I didnt know that... Id feel much better having them make me up some than to piece it together...

as far as the fuel lines... Im a poser, i just like how they look... :D

Have a look around your area for a Parker Hydraulic Hose store. They can make up any hose you want, in SS braided teflon, or standard hydraulic, brake or fuel line. They can also outfit you with nearly any JIC fitting (same as AN) that you need. Just make sure you don't mix 37 degree (AN spec) with 45 degree fittings.

The only downside of Parker is their fittings tend to be either steel or stainless steel, not that pretty blue & red anodised aluminum stuff.
