hi are there any uzz32's in the states??? are they legal and can it be smogged and registered here?

it'd be really cool to be able to test handle a uzz32 vs. a normal soarer...

I have not seen a SC with that Factory air sus. here in the states. I'm sure if you found a JDM imported who got their hands on one, you would have the typical issues with registering any JDM car. I don't see why it would be worth the hassle. Any particular reason you are after this specific chassis? I'm sure upgrading to aftermarket stuff would produce an overall better result than the factory uzz32. But I also suppose there is nothing like Toyota engineering :)

Yup uzz32 is the limited one that has the electronically controlled hydropneumatic suspension!! The best handling soared hands down!! Big in Australia but more in England I think... They only made 750 or so of them. It was 4ws also.. Meaning the back wheels turn also. The baddest of bad soarers!

I have never heard of the air sus option either. Interesting..

200lb sounds a little high, but it wouldn't surprise me. Air compressor should be around 25lb, plus solenoids, switches and all lines, and the airbags shouldn't be more than 100lb total over the stock coils. In fact the rubber bags/shocks weigh less than the steel coilovers. These systms draw a lot of amps and am curious if the air sus was factory... wouldn't Toyota include a higher output alternator to compensate?

I know there are like 3-4 companies making bolt on air systems for the SC.

Errr, we are talking about the HYDRAULIC suspension, not the airbag suspension

The hydraulic suspension is just that, no springs or shocks, just hydraulic rams on each corner, controlling the height and the dampening, all being controlled by an ecu and a hydraulic pump attached to the motor.
