Hey all. Name is Joel. Im a tech and pipe melter at Quick Rev performance in Dayton, Ohio. Current project is an 83 Toy Supra. After some successful 7ms in the past I decided to try my luck at something that is unknown to me (the 1uz). I wont bore you with details because Im not here to bench race. I just would like to say thanks to those who have paved the way for my decision. I look forward to more and hope I can be useful to others int he future.

If you care to look, I have pics, but I think most of us know what a stripped down to metal mk2 looks like . Im sure Ill be hitting you up with some questions since you have been through it and have a beautiful car btw.

All I can say is the 1uz-fe engine is a stout little V8 engine...You should be pleased, but the 4.0L size is a little bit of a bummer..... You better budget to boost if you want big power in the future.....

boost is in the cards, big power isn't. IMO 400+whp is tirespin and way more than I want in a sub 3000lbs car.

That will get the job done...What boost plans do you have for the 1uz.....Single turbo setup maybe?

I really wont know for sure, but it will be from a junk yard whatever it is. building the kit is no problem. Most likely twin 14b but if a deal arises, who knows. Much is just speculation at this point. Horns will toot a bit when the car is moving under it's own power, until then Im just another guy with a rusted car and plans.
