'STA Pin" on Crown ECU

Hi everyone,

I am after some information about the STA pin in the crown (UZS131) ecu, my understanding is that it changes ignition map to help when cranking.

I have been told that i can supply 12v to this when cranking? Is this correct?

Correct. 12v+ on the sta pin, only while the engine is cranking.

Do you need to do anything to the STA pin?? Mine, in the 40 40 40 pin loom is actually part of the loom that goes from the engine straight to the computer.
