For about 2 months now I have had converter lockup around 2000rpms. I tried setting the TPS with a digital multimeter but could not get a steady reading... and i hear digital is harder to use so I am about to try an analog type. Also, I unhooked my transmission cable and it didn't affect the lockup at all. Once the tranny cable was removed I had stalling issues sometimes at lights. I have not noticed horrible gas mileage but thats probably due to the fact that I drive at 2k everywhere!!
-I have replaced my TPS with oem toyota, and manual adjustments (no mater how fine) will not get rid of this. I have messed with my throttle cable and no go. Since i have a 3000rpm stall when it locks up at the wromg time it feel like someone threw the ABS for a split second... very very harsh. I am worried about my tranny at 200,000miles. With my blower on I dont need to rev as much as it's easier to deal with but i cant get over 55mph up slight hills because the lockup gets more prominent and it feel like the incredible hulk is pounding his fists on my hood... i have no idea where to look next..
