Just thought i'd say Hi. :happysad:
Just joined this afternoon and already finding the site very useful.
I drive a Lexus gs300 sport and i'm looking into putting the 1UZ-FE engine into it.
I'm just on the look out for a suitable donor LS400/Celsior at the moment.

Any help and advise you guys can give would be fantastic.

Welcome! Do u have a list? Its called Graig's List. LOL Anyway, this is the first time I have ever heard a GS300 looking for a V8 swap. You better look for a SC400 or GS400 donor due to the oil pan configuration. Please keep us updated.

Isn't it possible to reverse the sump or modify it??

I know this a silly question but i'm still in the really early planning stages!!

It will be cheaper and much easier to cough up the money to buy an SC400 sump (it consists of the alloy sump, tin oil pan, windage tray, oil pick up and dip stick and have it posted to you from either the States, Australia a or NZ.

Yes you are right. I almost forgot. Only SC400 is rear sump.
