hi guys, got an interesting problem?(may not be) i have a duel fuel set up which was fitted to the falcon using VN comodore 5litre GAS mixer ring, now you'd think this would affect performance, i'm not sure as even with 2.92 diff it had quite good torque(as i was hoping it compares to a GOOD 250ci falcon six)from start to 2500rpmish where is really gets moving(not as you would expect a mild cam to do, its progressively smooth right though)
i have a clearance issue where the plastic tube is touching shocker tower(engineer probably won't like it?), may consider exhaust shop making a neat pipe and getting it HPC coated? but is there a better gas mixer available that has a bigger inside diameter? i'd like to keep the gas as i did250km for $10 on the way home with it,30litres LPG to 250 km. performance on LPG is good enough. on petrol it flies even though this "restriction" is there how much better would the car go with a bit of straight pipe to replace it? (i am highly temptet to run down 1/4 mile at CALDER or heathcote and may take a piece of pipe to compare, takes about 5mins to remove mixer"restrictor")
another "CRAZY" therory of mine is would this help with low end torque? spose we wont know till it goes on a dyno, may consider this down the track a bit(few months)
