Just curious,

If you install the Lexus V8 & Autobox into an older car but want to use the original Gauges,
What do you do with the speedo?
At the moment mine is mechanically driven, i would imagine that the speedo drive on the Lexus Transmission would be electronic,
How do you get around this?

My 1UZ is in a Range Rover and they had Smiths instuments.

I have them all working.

As fro a speedo drive you should find one of the 4x4 boxes that use the mechanical drive with the auto.

Have a search on this Site I'm sure it has been done. Most answers are there if you try a few different searches. But always feel free to ask.

I also believe Sideshow (a member of this site) can supply converters, which you can plug your mechanical speedo cable into, and it still sends the right signals to the 'puter and stuff.

What you want is a CNSQ transducer. It replaces the standard one that screws onto the speedo input and allows a cable driver speedo to screw onto it.
