David, I know you're not endorsing this deal - you're just giving people a "heads up" about it. I'm not interested in it either, but it sure raised my BS flag when I looked at the ad.
Seller has only been an eBay member for 4 months, he has only 5 feedbacks, and he posted a picture which presumably isn't even the actual item. He says the motor has been in his warehouse "for awhile", yet he posts a pic of "a" clean 1UZ still installed in a car. Why not post a pic of the actual item, sitting there in his warehouse?
Plus he's in Canada, and getting satisfactory resolution will be that much more complicated for someone in the US if he pockets the money and doesn't ship. If somebody here gets screwed out of five or six hundred dollars, and is facing a protracted claim in another country, I'll bet most would just forget about it and chalk it up to experience.
I wouldn't touch this deal with a 10 foot pole, but for anyone who is interested, you should contact the seller and get all his personal contact information, and references BEFORE bidding, and then call and verify them. You're entitled to it since he's a n00b on eBay. If he doesn't want to provide them, BACK AWAY. There are similar deals on eBay frequently, so you don't need to fall in love with this one.

Thanks for that... sorry i didnt read the details..... I just saw it was a good deal so i posted in the forum. The picture is little fishy and i didnt read his feedbacks. I can deleted. However, John made a good point. Always beware of internet sellers.....
