Blower bypass valves

I'm looking to use a bypass valve from a mini cooper that has an M45 blower on it on an M90. I can't see a reason that it shouldnt work - have i missed something?

Nope, as long as it's installed correctly it should work fine. It may be a tad undersized for the job, but i haven't seen much size difference in bypass valves so not a critical factor anyway it would seem?

Thanks for that, i couldn't see much in the way of size difference and dont suppose it operates at a much different pressure so will give it a go.
