Alternator!

Just want to ask those experts about relocating the alternator backward to make space for the turbo. What happen if i mount the alternator facing to the engine. Basically it will spin backward. By spinning backward, would that reverse the pole?

It makes no differnece which way it spins.

PM Cobra, he has his alternator mounted just as you want. Facing the rear.

He may be able to give the dimensions of the brackets.

the only thing that you should look at is if it has a fan-built in.. to help cool it.. i will take a look at one i have at my shop tomoow and post..

The Alternator on our cars doesn't use a fan so it can run backwards without problem.

they have fans internaly, but direction shouldn't be a problem.
