Alternator models and differences

Will any alternator bolt up to a 92 ls400, is it just the plugs that change or is there other things to look out for?? lookin at buyin a high output model is it really worth it?

No it wont... Some models have diffferent plug and plug angle.

How about the mountin of the unit, i can always change the plug on the back easy enough

Mount for the V8 is the same. They all mount to the block and the oil pump.
