I have just registered with the forum so Hi to all.
Tomorrow I collect my new Cruiser VXR 5.7 V8 from the dealer - I really want to tune the engine and increase the BHP. I have a 911 T that is tuned upto 600 BHP and a Renault Clio Sport i race which has been tuned upto 220 BHP at the wheel so I know a little bit - not a lot though.
I have an excellent shop I use in Bahrain that can do the work for me.
I have no idea where to get parts from or what the normal mods are for these engines - I guess air filter, performance exhaust and map to start. Then rods, pistons etc, porting and maybe a turbo ? I woudl like to get 500 - 600 BHP and then let it rip on the drag track here !
It is my everyday workhorse as well so i need to be a little bit sensible.
Any advice would be great - suppliers i can speak to and buy bits from ?
