1uz's are they the same??

ok a noob question,

ist the 1uz engine out of a 90 model toyota crown the same as a 90 model ls400?? as mine is out of a Crown and there are a lot of parts on ebay for the 90 model ls400 just wanted to know if they were same so i could get parts!!!

AFAIK its little things like oil filter location and sump position etc..
Basically the same.. The exhaust manifolds vary a little too..

so things like timing belts, water pumps, pistons and piston rings etc would be the same.

The early 1UZ's had better rods than latter models..
But as far as rotating assembly and service they are much the same...
O/k some may have traction control etc with two butterflies.. But basically the same as far as servicing tmk...
