Finally got my 1956 F100 finished after many years of toil. Installed the `89 1UZ & trans from a Jap import and grafted a HQ Holden front end into the standard chassis and driven through a Holden Commodore 3.9:1 LSD rear end. I had to build a custom fuel tank and installed a Nissan fuel pump.
Took her for a blast recently and it launches ok but really starts to pull around 3000 rpm. I am considering a Bullet blower kit to give me a bit of bottom end. I have attached some photos. It does pull our drag car but not as fast - it does 6.5 sec and 211 mph...
