1uz American spec VS japanese spec???

Hey guys im starting a 1uz swap into my s13 and i was wondering if the power and tq outpot on an American spec is different than Japanese spec.

an " expert " told me that they are different

are they?

There was quite a number of 1UZ variants, they are not just JDM/USDM. However depending on production year and chassis (crown/celsior/soarer etc) power output does vary

Also remember to check if the quoted figures are in DIN or SAE and if measured at wheels or flywheel.
