Hi,
Was chatting with a friend of mine recently and convo ended up with the following:
The idea is to run non vvti heads on a 3uz block. We have no intention of getting VVTI to work hence the non vvti heads.
The reason for the 3uz block is that only will we get a displacement increase (I do realize by not much) but from my searching I believe that the 3uz crank is lighter and the pistons are better designed and are also lighter.
Other modifications will be
*headers
*ARP Rodbolts
*performance exhaust
*Stand Alone ECU
*4AGE Throttle Bodies
*2jz valve springs
*Performance Cams that will hopefully make power up until 8000rpm
In this type of application would you also go with the skinny rods or thick rods ?
Thanks
