    1UZ-FE Logo Question

You can buy the 'V8' logo and stick it on - what somebody must have done already :)

My modding plan! Is it the best way?

Right, I'm having my '32 suspension completely sorted and as long as that goes smoothly, I'll get started on tuning at last! Just thought I'd run the plan by you lot to see if theres anything I'm missing or doing wrong... Got the front mounted air scoop into std box at the moment, thats all...

    NOS rookie questions

Do you really need it on a FI 1UZ? A big S/C can reach the high hundreds of Bhp easily! It might be a bit more expensive to gain the power without using nitrous but with that sort of power, a lot needs to be changed anyway, so you may as well go the safer route of just upgrading all the parts...

Very interested in how that system performs. Mine sould be similar to that when I'm done, except with 150 shot, different cams, colder injectors and new diff, torque converter to help takeoffs along with a shift kit :veryhappy DO you have any figures on it? Any problems you encountered...

That nitrous express FAQ is quite amusing: written BY chavs, FOR chavs:slaphappy You've just got to think of wet as introduced with fluid (fuel) and dry introduced into a dry chamber (inlet manifold).

    NOS rookie questions

I haven't seen many people running Nitrous, so a lot is still a bit of trial and error. A few people I think are running 150 without many mods, but I'm going to have intake, full exhaust with headers, Unichip management, new cams, injectors, probably new fuel pump, and probably nitrous...

    NOS rookie questions

The system that sprays into your intake is called a dry system. Its then up to the fuel management (standard or otherwise) to add the extra fuel though the injectors. 100 shot seems to be considered safe on a more or less standard engine. I think I am going to go 150 shot but with quite a...

Full dual vs Y and X setups

Just had the reply back from them. They don't make the OE exhausts, so it must just be that special edition. And they don't sell the components seperately either! Only the complete exhaust. I may well keep an eye out for a second hand one or a cheaper new one in the UK, but chances are slim...

Full dual vs Y and X setups

Yeah, looks to me like its aftermarket only except that special edition model then. Bad new for availability, but could be better news for price! Now to find a breaking XKR!!! It works out at about £600 but then we have the shipping - ~£300+ I suspect, tax @ 17.5%, then import duty @ 10% =...

Full dual vs Y and X setups

Cheers! Emailed them. Where did you find that the OEM system is Borla? From what I can see, it is only aftermarket. This route could be done, but it seems like there is an increase in noise from a standard XKR to a Borla system. Not too much by all accounts, but maybe just that little too...

Full dual vs Y and X setups

Anybody know what the specs and setup is for the Jag XK8/XKRs? That is the perfect sound for me - exactly what I want, so I want to try and imitate that, or possibly even fit Jag mufflers/Xovers:ninja: From what I can see from the very little info I can find on the net, they use cats on the...

    fabricating for supercharger

I'm in the same situation and need the same things really! Is there any idea on price yet? Whats the interest in them like? I've been a browser for a long time, but have been slowly gaining knowledge and now I actually have a clue about what is being talked about:) There are a few small...
