Rod, I'm an IT guy with no fabrication skills at all. I'd rather not learn on making engine mounts.... The only welding i've ever done was oxy-accetelene (Sp) in highschool and managed to screw that up pretty badly ;)

Final call out for help: Any of the people that have made mounts before - if you're willing to share your plans / drawings of mounts that have been made and are working I will reimburse you for them and have the mounts made locally. Saves me the hassle of trying to reinvent the wheel and you...

No one's making any by the look (or everyone is on holidays). Custom in Aus then is the only way.

Lex - I know of two members who used to make them. I'll PM them both direct - but was really hoping someone would be making them commercially now. (either way thanks for the reply)

I'm not 100% sure what they're like. I haven't seen any reviews any where yet. The performance looks pretty good though and they make a few other kits. So far their customer service has been A1 though (and they actually seem knowledgable about what they're selling...)

Chris, After talking to some of the very knowledgeable chaps in the MKIII community in Australia it appears the difference is pretty minor for the pre 89 and 89+ subframe. From what I can understand only the mounts are different (round vs square - and slight angle / height) and the crossmember...

Excellent news. What do you need from an early supra I'll see if I can source it and send it ;) (or get all the measurements you need) (Or I'll just upgrade my MA70 subframe to a JZA70)

Chris - those look awesome. What's the likely price on the above? and will the fit all mkIII models - or just 90 onwards?

The wolf V500 is out now. It's a somewhat more expensive piece of kit - I priced it at $2000 AUD vs the Link ecu at $1200 (AUD).... but given the wolf can control just about everything .... might be a goer. It's what I have in mind for my project.

Nice job. What engine mounts did you use for the install? Are they custom or off the shelf? Also looks quite a tight squeeze in there......

Thanks Mark.... I haven't even sat down and worked all of those details out yet.... Guess I should do that as a priority - and get the car engineered too with a 'stock' 1uz then when I get used to that build the power up ;) Cheers all for the replies so far - very helpful.

I usually just say 'WHP' because I can't ever be bothered with the extra letter.... Above - when I said WHP - I meant Wheel Horse Power - being the figure of power at the wheels. That said looks like I might have to research some perfomance mods more - NA 330whp is looking more and more...
