Looks like the 4 speed auto would be the easiest option then?

I appreciate you both taking time to answer my questions. Just one more. I have read there are both 4 speed autos on the earlier cars and 5 speed autos on the later cars. It's any early engine so would I have any issues connecting and running with the later 5 speed box (electronically)...
