    I think those two lines are there to increase the idle when the power steering is operated. So basicly it's an bypass of the throttle body. On newer cars this is usually done by the ecu, with a pressure sensor/switch on the power steering lines.

    On both my cars with r154 I have welded a piece of tubing to the shaft, to make it the perfect length. No problem at all. Just grind it smooth on the outside afterwards.

    Shim over, or under bucket...or shimless?

    I have measured the 3sgte under bucket design, and they are ca 1-2mm lower then the 1uzfe buckets. Have thought about making custom shims that is higher (4-5mm) but that might generate other problems.

    Dry Sump Ideas

    Here is my attempt to make a dry sump pan. There is a x-member going in the middle, therefore the higher section on the middle. The flange is also made too thick. It will be milled down atleast 10mm. One of the pictures also shows one of the custom pickup's I made with AN12 coupling.

    UK Nissan 200SX S13 with 1UZFE swap.

    I made a new sump for my s13 swap. And I just cut out the corner of the valve cover and welded it to make room for the brake-booster.

    Master power T70

    It's a while since I had this turbo, so it's a bit unclear in memory. But I think it was between 3000-3500 the boost came. I would say that the .68 housing would be the best for a stock engine. The heads will be a restriction before the turbine housing. But I'm no turbo expert in any way.
