97 cobra wheels on my LS (pics)

Ill take pics. I unplugged the egr temp sensor which is underneath the intake but you can unplug it without pulling the plennum. I just plugged the resistor dirrectly to botg sides of the connector on the harness side. Ill send you a pic tomorrow.

Doing the egr delete, prepare for check engine light. When the light comes on mine my fuel mileage gets cut in half. I figured out a resistor on the egr temp sensor cured that problem but i havent had time to experiment with fooling the computer on the other egr bits.

Piggyback ECU Map ecu good, bad and ugly??

Not any i would trust. I just visited link website and they showed closest dealer in maryland. Seems maryland has all the good go fast shops for the jap cars. Here in north carolina everyone builds american muscle. This is the home to NASCAR.

Piggyback ECU Map ecu good, bad and ugly??

The issue i have with a standalone, i dont have anybody local that KNOWS the ecu they sell. I can find someone in maryland im sure, but that would be about a four - six hour drive for me. I really wish i could just plug n play with something that self tunes. Fjo used to have a self learning...

Piggyback ECU Map ecu good, bad and ugly??

I am looking at going with the map ecu 3. I am building a high comp engine with good exhaust cams and itb. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with the map ecu on early 1uz. Also my car is manual gearbox.

    Looking for high comp pistons

Maybe i will attempt to source a r154 from a mkiii turbo then. I made 550whp and 689ftlb in my 88 supra and never had anything but diff cradle problems.

    Looking for high comp pistons

Im hoping to start my build of my early 1uz. Im planning on 11:1 comp maybe 12:1 with some lextreme stage II cams and some itbs. I am building custom headers. This engine will be backed by a W58 trans. Its going in a first gen celica. My question is, where can i source some 11:1 or 12:1 pistons??

    SIDEWAYZ introduction

But being thrown around on a race track for hours is more painful than bending over a fender. Atleast when im working on a car i can stop. Its kind of difficult to stop mid race
