Sideshow you have misunderstood my post; my ute kicks down fine from any gear its the upshift thats the problem, If i stand on the throttle in 1st wait for the rpms to get near 6000 then shift manually the trans will not upshift untill i lift off the throttle for a split second, it just bounces...

Mate theres always conversions goin on here so chances are you've got sensors and wiring for multiple vehicles so if you don't want em how much?

I have already modded my auto with a 1.5 shift kit and 2800 stally so 1. is out, i thought of getting a 4wd slip joint and giving the driveline place my orig hilux 2wd shaft and the soarer shaft and maybe a 4wd shaft if i can find one,see what happens i guess.

Doin the 1uz swap in me 93 RN90 extra cab 2wd and have come up against a problem with the tailshaft, what have others done, I have a trans from a soarer with the rubber donut coupling so there is no provision for axle movement up and down,any idea's?
