Hi all, can an aftermarket 1 wire universal o2 sensor (common replacement for local toyota's) be used on 1uz crown or later majesta? none of the local parts joints can even find a part number for ls400 which were sold locally, gen toyota can, but $350!! ea .might just try NGK universal...

so how hard are the 2/3uz,s to wire up? doesnt seem to be to many conv with these or even 1uz vvti, I here of peeps saying you need the ignition key with it to make it run, sounds like a headf##k ,just thinking after doin the 3rd 1uz and helping out wiring another 4, it mite be time to move up...

anyone got a 1uz just motor with ps pump an ac, no wiring needed, damn these are getting exy, 1400-1900 plus freight to perth 300-500, just want a motor for round 1200 would be nice

well its finished, black single cab 1uz 5spd 33's, went awsome until the diff blew, only drove 10km max not even givn it a hard time, any one else with a lux had a diff go, its only got light duty gbox which should be the first to go, will post pics soon

Well you know how you just happen to have that spare front cut lying around and they are so hard to move around, so your in your shed and spy that spare diff just sittn in the corner and themig has only just cooled down from your last stupid idea, do I need to continue, it has traction problems...

The only prob Im havn with my conversion is when it shifts back down to first gear on decelleration it seems to shift too early (car moving too fast?) and clunks back quite abruptly, could it be my speed sensor is not accurate enough and is telling the trans the car is going slower than it...
