Still have the tranny if anyone needs it. Must get rid of it....

I'm in need of a set of 2UZ valve covers. I only need them for a short time for mock-up purposes, so they can be returned if need be. Let me know if anyone can help me out. Thanks guys.

Taking an off the shelf sleeve and machining it to spec might be something to consider.

I talked with Darton a while back about creating a 95mm sleeve. I was quoted at $5,500. However if you're interested as well, maybe we can get a nice rate for the pair...maybe $4000!! All joking aside, it looks like a sturdy sleeve, not just a large bore resleeve, but a solid wet sleeve is going...

What are your horsepower goals? A mild 300 whp or 500 whp? Stating your goals will allow others to further direct you in the right path.:veryhappy

I would stab my own mother in the back for that motor. And then of course build my own manifolds and TT it. (I wouldn't really stab my mother...)

I just sent my digital camera back because it was eating batteries..hopefully the new one will show up soon! I'll see if I can dig up some older ones...

The tranny came with a front clip with 39,000 on it. I've put about 1500 miles on it in the past two years. The throw is shortened and it has been re-threaded for a VR4 shift knob. It has a much better feel to it then the huge throw and clunky factory knob.

The runners have a much better/gradual transition into the plenum. The runners have been opened up a bit, as well as port work done to the inside of the injector bungs. The twin plenums indeed hold more air, but its the larger/smooth transitions and short runners that bring the numbers up.

Dave, what will you're bore be increased to? What of sort of sleeves are you running?

Myself and Martydaman1 are working on some as I type. They will feature equal length individual runners, and join at the turbo with a hand made collector. What car will your 1UZ be fitted into Kaze?

I have another R-154 5-speed for sale. It is out of a A70 turbo supra. Modified short shift with VR4 knob (assembly is now much shorter and fits the hand as it should...no more giant rectangle knob). Clutch also has less than 5K on it. Must sell. Looking for $400. APEX'i AVCR boost...

Brad, no numbers yet (:-( x 100). Pro, what you see is what you get. Unless you choose to have it powder coated in maybe red. Then it'll look a bit different :-). We are supplying these through TTC and if they're not top notch, Eric would not send them out.

In the post I responded to it seemed as if you were ok with using "so-so-ish" parts in order to get the car "driving," knowing all to well that they would eventualy fail, which I can see is not where you were going. I'm all for making my own parts...motor mounts, intake manifolds and so on, but...
