the alternator is very easy to remove, remove the belt, lose the 2 bolts, slide it out, turn it and unplug it. You can remove it between the clutch fan and the engine, it's tricky but you can do it without removing anything else.

The supra doesn't need a V8, it needs a Highly responsive, torquey and modifiable engine, a great design (don,t tell me any pictures found on the net are nice!) and some engineering. I don,t beleive toyota will release the supra anytime soon. But I do think they will try to test the market...

well, i do know i've got some sludge because sometime my oil level light lights up for a few seconds. i hope the flush and oil change will fix this. plugs seems fine for the moment, but i will still change them because they must be old.

geez, you brought back an old thread! Actually, talking about that, in my LS400, the 1st gear IS stronger than the 2nd, completely different from my SC400. Once it has reached 2200RPM it pulls really good.
