I am putting a 1uzfe in my toyota pick up. I am at the point were I'm going to order my gear sets. I would like to know aprox. what rpm a Ls 400 cruises at 100kph (60MPH) thanks

I think a r154 will handle more tq than a t-5 not the greatest tranny ever built. look out cuz theres a hand full of different t5s with different torque ratings

that car is bent, It needs more that adjustment, Take it to a certified body shop, tell them its a track car and you want the frame straitend pay them cash run a way and never go back there

I don't see how the valves would see any side load. the buckets are very precise in there bore so they move perfectly up and down and they are not conected to the valve in any way so even if the bucket did move around a little the top of the stem (or shim if shim under bucket) would just side on...

Note the "injectors" that was back when money was realy tight we would run 2-3 cold start injectors before the throttle body in the charge pipe it worked okay but far from perfect. With the nitrous I would use the fuel side of a wet system for alcohol not just cold start injectors.

This Might sound really dumb but I figured I'd ask anyway. Back when I was buildind "K"cars in high school we would use cold start injectors and alcohol to stop pinging when the boost was a little too high. Could this same theory be used with Nitrous and a wet system. The car runs on standard...

the 3vz flywheel is like an inch thick don't think that it will compromise strength to much to drill in between the existing holes, I machined up some plug and pressed them in to the existing bolt holes buzzed over them with the TIG welder then redrilled the holes over the old ones just for...

there the same on pretty much any toyota of the same vintage, 4-runner/pickup/celica .............. should be easy to fing at a wrecker just the 1uz uses 2 instead of one

I did the same swap, same (r151) transmission with the 1uz in my 87 hilux. If I were you I would sell yer truck and buy one a year newer with the 3.4l but that doesn't answer your question. I used the flywheel of a 3vz re drilled it to fit a 1uz then added a ring gear off another hilux...

did you actually blow a diff or the cv axles? I've broke so many cv axles I bought a live axle for my pick up. going in this winter.
