It's a second hand blower. It probably sounds different due to distortion from the digital camera. Also, a boat engine has different loads on it than a car engine. I was just a few inches away from the shortened throttle body, which is hard to do on a car, unless it was on a dyno I suppose...

That blitz setup used to use 2 sc14 bowers off a 1GGZE toyota engine which are roots blowers. The ones on this link look slightly different to the usual sc14. Are you sure they are twin screw????

Does anyone know of some of the supliers that sell these things. I have in the past spoken to Sprintex and FAT but been unimpressed with them. Surely there must be someone else in Australia that sells Autorotor, Opcon, Lyscholw or Whipple? Are there any other brands out there?

Does anyone make or know a good suplier of inlet stacks or trumpets. I was after something 45 mm inside diameter 25cm long and made of 3mm steel or 4mm Aluminium.
