cheers im lookin at upgrading the radiator soon for an ali unit, due to the lack of airflow around the 1uz in mx83 engine bay cooling is my biggest issue.

resulted in a 13.7@176kmh 60ft can be much improved with a 2.52sec rather pleased with that considering its a stock 1uz hopefully good set of extractors and a full exh + high stall will see near a flat 13

anyone no what the stock thermostat opens at in a stock 1uz, also if it ok to run a 71 deg C thermostat, my quad cam cressida is running at about 90 with the twin AU Falcon thermo's on constantly with them off temp will rise to about 90-100 deg celsius.

no way at the drags cant get above 1200rpm without spinning up

lookin at stall converters for my 1uz, anyone got info or experiences with stalls. im after around 2000rpm and retaining lock up too, im in australia

in desperate need of a stall converter have been shopping around and morestall look like the way to go as i only want around 2krpm and want to keep lockup also anyone had experiecnes with stalls before??

it runs perfect no dramas, tho did need new leads recently. its not burning oil yet (fingers crossed) ill try to get pics up from here at work someday as i cant do it from home
