What about the Honda S2000 motor... 240HP on 2.0L and that's honda. That one revs to about 9000rpm. Get the 1UZ up there with a higher compression... especially the VVTI version and cams.. and it's putting out competitive HP.

If you bored the engine out to the same displacement with a higher CR, maybe get it port and polished and some cams that deliver max output at 8500rpm the 1UZFE would be close to that mark.

Wow, you put a lot of work and money into that engine. The cams really help. Those are Great numbers though.... there aren't many cars that can get that on 1 bar. Congrates, you've officially created a beast!

But if using standard ECU won't his AF calculations be wrong?

Looking at your pics I noticed something. Should the MAF be at the inlet to the intake manifold after the IC, instead of the stock location?

That's what this thread was about. I am swaping the gear shifter with one that has a tiptronic upshift downshift movement. I'm going to use a manual trans leather boot to cover it up.

Already have all that covered. Once I get the controller i'll let you know how it ended up. But all and all the whole setup will end up being less than $300usd. I'll post pics of the finished product for those looking to do something similar.

How much HP would raising the Compression ratio give? Maybe between 11.0 and 12.0

I have a shift kit on my soarer. It's cool I would recommend it makes the car shift much faster. It takes a few miliseconds with it installed. But, I would recommend the Torque Converter before the shift kit as it gets you off the line faster and the affects of the shift kit can be gained...

Actually it is possible to switch out the shifter. Right now I have an FTO shifter that I need slightly modified to fit it is really a simple change. It just needs a lever added to connect to the transmission shift lever that the normal SC shifter connects to. I'll add pictures if anyone is...

Will the JZA70 Diffs fit in the V8's?

We have about 26.5% drivetrain power loss. So 200rwhp is about 272hp at the flywheel. I think a manual swap would drop that to under 20%. I think Neil got like 20kw from the manual swap.

Is that 45hp properly tuned or just on stock ecu? And which ones were you referring to?
