You seem to have a lot more room for your headers than i do in my 2WD. can you give us a pic showing the headers in relation to the steering???

Well over here in new zealand there is a KE35 coupe with a 1UZ in it running n/a it was doing the quarter in the low 12's. Its road registered and now running Nos. He uses a W57 gearbox and a hilux Diff. He did cut the firewall and the trans tunnel to get it all to fit though.

I say go the 1UZ V8. there is a twin turbo Mitsi ute over here in new zealand and it moves along pretty good and is different. Id say give the mitsi box a try but id say the ratio's would be fairly wide. and if it doesnt work you can always go to the W5* series toyota boxes. after market...

mite be able to help you out....we remove the tps on the traction control butterfly so if that does the same job we should have a spare one lying around in hamilton.

Just by pass it dude i never ran the idler on my set up and it never slipped.... I think i used a 6pk1650 6 rib belt but you mite just want to run a measuring tape through the set up and make sure it will fit. You may run into issues when the air con. clutch disengauges but hey you can only try...

Yeah i was parked in a busy carpark with security camera's in full view but yeah...i think if someone wants your car they will just go for it. Here's a tip, dont put the alarm manufacturer's label on your window, if they want your car they will just read up on how its installed and get around it.

just rip the fan off and gut the internals of the pump so it turns into an idler. Is a piece of cake to do.
