Had the 1st dyno run on the TT 1uz/Supra 6speed. 500 rwhp @5000 rpm - 527rwhp @ 6500 . 1 bar boost . Will get it a little track time before running the boost up to the 22lb mark and the rpm close to 7800 rpw.(This was run on a Dyno Dynamics dyno. Runs so sweet apart from a plug lead problem...

The performane spring spring from the group buy on v8 com. have an I.d of .74" compared the .71" of the std spring .IMO needs to be used with performance retainer PET 1020. Its fits like a cock in a sock on the std retainer.

Up-date on shim-less bucket. I have just fitted a set to the exhaust side of my 1uz. The shimless bucket works spot on when used with the longer 2jzgte exhaust valves , but the inlet fitted with std valves are 2mm to short and with 2jz valves 1.5 mm to long.Before anyone asks why do only the...

They will NOT work with the std valves.The o/all thickness of the std bucket and shim is over the 7.4mm mark .The thickest shimless bucket is 5.74mm. Please set me right and $10 AUD. for new toyota buckets.W.T.

They are 31mm Dia. and will not work with the std length valves.Max thickeness is 5.74mm .

You will need to machine a piece out of the cam gear to clear the cam lobes. I had to do the same. Depending on the lift, you may also have to do quite a bit of clearancing around the lobes swing area .

500 rwhp on a kevlar plate . Queensland/Australia is full of clutch experts that push single plate up-rated clutches and quote that they are up to the task. Most will put a new plate on a upgraded std diafram when a multi plate set-up is what is needed to do the job.

I have had a good run out of the trd (exedy clutch).The 2jz was making over 600 Australian rwhp and has spent many hours on the track.So Iam hoping in will take the extra loading of a twin turbo 1uz-fe.If not a triple/quad plate maybe in order.

I am using the trd twin plate.By the time you turn the ring gear teeth off and slot the holes,then allow for the differance in the clutch setback. A custom 4340 billet flywheel at $630 (ring gear of my flew plate fitted ) PRICELESS.

You will need to have a custom flywheel turned up to suit ,as I did.

Mine turn up the other day and is now fitted to the engine.I have measured everything up and a new flywheel is being made to suit the TRD clutch.The quality of the adapter is very very good.

I am hoping to have my Supra running before to long ,engine is sitting in the engine bay. Turbo manifolds are finished, dump pipes started, intercooler pipework in the next few days, New wiring loom underway.Just hanging for the adaptor plate to set-up the TRD twin plate flywheel.
