Has anyone done this swap, or have any idea on what to anticipate? I'd like to take a manual mr2 non turbo and put a 1uz in it, raise the compression and do some 'bang for the buck' mods and see what kind of n/a power I can get out of it for cheap ... maybe fabricate some headers for it and...

Well, the G and T stand for performance cams and turbo, if i remember correctly, replacing the F and adding the T :)

Does anyone know the bore, stroke, compression ratio, etc on this motor?

Funny you say so, I called the other day, it was like 12 grand used for a complete engine and that was if he could find one I don't know about the short block?

Thanks Lex, So 222.4mm or 8.756" is for the 1uz, 2uz and 3uz? And this is a measurement from the crank centerline to the top of the block, correct? What is the measurement from the bottom of the cylinder to the top of the block?
