    Photos Needed For Magazine Article

Thanks, I'll grab some of those photos and pass them along to the editor. If they're too small for the printers to use, would you be able to lay hands on the originals / larger versions at all? It could be there would be time to get a photo of the zinc-coated 'fish', but I'll forward the...

    Photos Needed For Magazine Article

Hi folks, Thanks for coming back to me. Apologies for my delay in replying - just back late last night. Not one of my better pieces of self-organisation! Scotturnot - The article's the second in a two part run. The first dealt with the theory of supercharging and the different types of...

    Photos Needed For Magazine Article

Hi, That'd be great thanks. The end of this week would be fine if that fits into your schedule OK. I need to check with the magazine as to when the drop-dead deadline is. Thu 3rd / Fri 4th is the one they gave me. It might be that they'll stretch to early next week (w/c 7th Jan), but I don't...

    Photos Needed For Magazine Article

Hi Everyone, I'm trying to find good photos of supercharger conversions to illustrate an article on supercharging in the UK's Practical Performance Car magazine. What we need is good, large-size detail shots of completed installs, mounting / pulley bracketry, manifolds, intercooler solutions...

Views on best engine spec for my project?

Hi, Thanks for all this input guys. Anaema - Had thought about some cams and head work, only the 1UZ tuning 'scene' over here in the UK is way behind Oz / NZ. If I can get similar results with a stock engine and M112, then I'd probably go that way then the M90 and head work if for no other...

Hi, I've spent a good bit of time digging through the information in this (excellent) site, and have picked up lots of good info. However, I'm wondering if folk might have any views on the specific project I'm looking at. Sometimes it's difficult to decide on 'the one best solution' when...

    Which engine have I got?

Timing belt etc does sound sensible. Budget-wise it's all a bit up in the air, but the general idea is 'limited' for now. I reckon I'll make the plan to strip it externally for now, get it cleaned down, replace the belt, WP and seals etc as suggested then go ahead see how it runs from there...

    Which engine have I got?

Thanks guys, I'm glad the belt rubbing thing shouldn't mean any damage - I was worried that I might have to rebuild the thing. Dreaded 90 - 92 ECU - I've had a good look all around lextreme.com researching lots of stuff (great site BTW). I was reading through the FAQs doc by Phil Bradshaw...

    Which engine have I got?

Hi folks, I recently bought a second hand LS400 engine for a project I'm working on. Something tells me it might be a tad older and higher mileage than the vendor suggested. So, I was wondering if anyone could pin the following down to a year / spec please: Engine no: 1UZ 61747 ECU part no...
