The motor is from a crown running every thing stock. As the vehicle is manual it only uses the engine ECU. The throttle body was replaced with one from a Soarer because it has only one butterfly. Warren

When I first start the motor the motor dosn't idle well, it hunts up and down for about 10 - 15 seconds before it smooths out. Once the engine warms up it still idles fast. I have checked for air leaks, but there dosn't appear to be any. Any suggestions Warren

Sideshow your are right , the sheilding should be only earthed at one end, the ECU end. With both ends earthed you will get earth loops.

Try the Brisbane Lexus at Kedron. They have them and they sell for around $22. I would replace the rear seal also which the Lexus dealer has and cost $54. Tell them it is for a LS 400. I bought my seals from Bullet Sports Car at Yatala. They also sell parts for the 1UZFE motors. Warren
