Have you checked the connections to your ignition module. Including the earth?

I thought even a 500 rpm drop was to big for an engine in a second therefore assumed that the tacho had lost its signal for that second

If your tacho is dropping it must have some thing to do ignition.

I'll agree with Toranamat69. 450RWHP is HUGE I know of a couple of 9 second cars with this sort of horsepower. Still a nice conversion I can't wait to see videos of it at the drags.

My crown powered bluebird went for a speedo check today and I did a hp run just to get a base line. 161 Hp. Why are the crowns down so much on HP?

I was just looking at the wiring diagrams and I can see the fuel pump gets power while the engine is cranking from pin 11 on the 22 pin connector but I can't see an input that tells the computer the engine is cranking. Did I miss something or what’s the go.

Done it two years ago I put a lexus into a capri in 2002 and drag raced it at local tracks for 12 months. I couldn't get it engineered because it was only a 4 cylinder body. Now I've found a V6 body but don't know if I should put it the capri or a bluebird wagon I've been given. If you guys...
