Hey Yall Just Wanted To Let You All Know That Thanks To Everyone Here My Fuel Guage Problem Is Officially Over! To Day I Finally Drove Enough To See Mt Fuel Guage Drop To Empty After Starting Full, And For The First Time My Gas Light Came On.....so All Is Well Thanks A Lot..

i think i'll start with an air filter seeing as my budget doesnt allow me to do all that, haha junior college studen man..actually now that i think about it tho, i did reset my computer and maybe i forgot to tighten the cables back up....thanks i'll check it out.

sounds like it can also be a bad connection, check the alternator connections, especially the ground on it, in my case, the ground bold was corroded and actuall snapped while unscrewing, luckinly enough was left to just connect lower and everythings been fine since..

haha i had a garbage bag over mine for like 2 days, and in richmond at school!!!! but no 1 touched it...i got creative too and proped it finally. but my switch makes a buzzing noise, so i think thats my problem..

man, before spending money, u mite as well try a reset. disconnect battery negative firs for 30 minutes, i like an hour just to make sure, and then recconect negative first....this may help, it fixed mu=ine when i fixed my cluster...

look similair to the bulbs inside the cluster.....

ya i finally replaced my cluster back lighting bulbs!!! i did 6 out of 8 because i misplace 1 of the housing things(by the way fu#k tha dealership, get the bulbs fo 2:50 for 2 instead of 10 dollars for one at any craigin)....also the strangest thing is happening, but in a good way, i have seen...

so i pulled off my speaker box and all, untaped all wiring, retaped(abd in the process i think i may have fixed my fickle keyless entry problem), but no luck with my power windows. that was on the driverside because thats the switch that makes the buzzing noise. im really leaning toward a bad...

hey i removed my cluster and my air bag light stays on, but my fuel guage is not right, what do i need to do, and am i suppossed to connect the negative or positive cable to my battery first?

well i dropped 40 in and its reading full and hasnt moved so i guess maybe i will try to fill it all the way when i get the chance, or just order a new cluster because 2 of my needles are out n e way....bit i'll let yall know...thanks

hey yall, so far it looks like it may have worked, the guage dropped down to about a quarter tank, wtch is what about i had in there, made me nervous tho that it hasnt really move even tho i havent driven much, so i jus dropped 5 buck in and i saw it go up some, now if it drops my problem is...

ya, actually i had to pick up my sister from practice with out my cluster. i havwent had a chance to yet but i been thinkin that it just needs to reset, i have lunch right now so im going to go try.....i'll let u know if it works...

Ya My 92' Sc400 Would Easilt Burn Out When I First Got It, But Now It Doesn't....i Never Did It On Purpose, It Jus Happened Bacause I Upgraded From An 89 Toyota Carolla...lol I Havent Changed The Air Filter Yet, And I Always By Supreme Fuel, So What Could Be The Reason?? And How Can I Fix It?

So What Originally What Happened Was, My Driver Side Window Got Off Track, And The Motor Got Jammed, I Took The Motor Apart And Got It Unjamed, But When All Hooked Back Up, Nothing Really Happens, Exept Now My Switch Makes A Disturbing Buzzing Sound. Sometimes The Motor Will Move With Some Help...
