Hey guys 99.9% there trying to get a start on the boat but there are a few things baffling me:- The Engine is a 91 Soarer (crashed but motor undamaged). I removed it from the car and was running upon removal. The loom was done by Sideshow from the club...he has been a great help...

If Im hearing correctly, 1UZ's have a fuel reg on the motor or is it a stand alone item....? I have a malapassi fuel reg on the return line back to the swirl pot is it not needed?

Hey guys, with the standard oil pressure switch, does the ECU need to see the oil switch? The reason why is that I have replaced it with a Mercruiser unit to suit the gauges in my boat. Will I need to put the standard one in line somewhere in the oil system for the engine to work?

update 3/3/10 looking forward to having the boat in the water next tuesday, just fitting all heater hoses to heat exchanger tomorrow and electrics will be finished off by sideshow next monday. Been 2 years plus since the boats been in the water looking forward to getting it out there.

Hi Jeff looking at using the microswitch in the throttle handle which stops you starting the motor whilst in gear. This should hopefully give a momentary trigger to the ecu traction control inputs/outputs to momentarily cut ign. Will get Sideshow to have a look at this as well. Craig
