Water pump is driven off the timing belt, (hidden under all the covers on the front of the motor) So the belt would only need to run Alt Crank AC and the tnnsioner The only way I can see this working is if you move the ALT up to the PS original possition maybe? Like Cobber has done "above"

We don't get that model here in Aus, "Sucks!" infact I can't think of one 4WD V8 ute that IS sold in Aus I've herd that toyota is releasing a turbo V8 diesel?, but don't hold me to that.

Yeah as I thought, thing is stevechumo didn't say anything about intercooler, and either did any one else.

Like Loroh said It's different on differnet models, On the crown engine's it's easy but you lose cruze control also, Even if I told you which wire to cut, you might have a different model and cut something that you need. I only know my model of engine which is a UZS131 Crown

How much boost can these engines handle with NO intercooler's no one has said who's running intercoolers or not?

The very top little pully is not the tensioner. The tensioner is the big one to the right of the PS

Yes you are correct, this what I have done and now there is no slippage I made the top Alternator mount adjustable. Bit of a shame tho the original bet tensioner makes it so quick and easy to change or remove the belt but it works and that's the main thing Here is a pic of somthing I wipped...
