The setup there is only tempary untill I either turn the intake around or get some pipes made up. I would run a airbox in the drivers corner but I need to beable to plumb my snorkel up for when I`m doing comps with deep water. Oh and lets see yours.

Yep mine hangs are the 60 to 70ish mark. But try doing a super steep down hill, it drops to around 2 to 5psi hehehehehehe. But yeah I mean really really super super down hill, the sort where your not sitting in the seat your more standing on the firewall.

Yes the 1uz taco only works of 4cyl. I`m trying to get hold of a dash cluster out of a 4cyl petrol SR5 hilux. ATM I just have a bling bling after market tacho. Its set on 4 cyl to read correctly. The 2.8 desiel tacho is pulse as far as I know, guessing the 2.4 was the same.

Gas is for BBQ, why would you remove injection and go to gas. Sorry (no offence meant) but thats one of the dumbest things I heared.

My best mate is an auto leck and he did it for me. I could have worked it out if I wanted but couldn`t be bothered. There are wiring diagrams on this BB for the motor. Engine mounts, I used the crown mounts and welded up new chassi mounts for them to bolt to.

Thanks Jordy. Hilux now runs a tray mounted radiator with the twin AU Falcon thermo`s. The old setup with the standard hilux rad used to hold only 5lts. The new setup now holds approx 12lts of fluid. I`ll post some pics over the next few days. Have also plumb in a big power steering cooler...

I have a mid sump motor but have put a rear sump (castlemain rod shop) on it and have moved the dip stick to the back on the drivers side (Aus). rivmasta, if it`ll fit then sweet. Will just have to wait till somebody says yes it`ll fit.

I`m in the process (all but done) of mounting my radiator on the tray behind the cab. I`ve used a GQ patrol radiator which is about twice the size of the hilux one and have put the twin AU falcon thermos on it. What I want to know is will the standard water pump be ok for this? Remember it now...
