found the issue for anyone that wants to know... when changing over my intake system... it started to happen... i unplugged the afm and it ran fine... swapped the afm and its all good now

what i have also noticed.... i was running a pod filter, i put the surf standard air box on and then it started to miss... could this even be afm? but if i change the filter back to the pod it still missed... could the afm cause misses?

will check it out. i have replaced the leads... no difference. Checked the coils and ohms are reading: primary: 0.5 on both 2ndry: 11-12 ohms one thing i have noticed is the ignitors get really hot.... stuffed ignitors? is there a way to check them? removing the dizzy's... its looks...

code 14 - 15 looks like the pulse sent back to the ecu from the ignitor... i have noticed it does miss at around the 2500rpm on top gear but then is fine after those revs... any opinions?

i did a re check, now im also getting diagnostic codes 14 and 15: ignition 1 & 2. What would i be looking at that for. i just drove the car and it drove perfect...??

when i open up the airflow meter... is it just the black bar that im looking at?

ok guys... problem solved. Wiring was ok but the ignitors that were given with the motor were not correct and causing the issue!! thanks guys for all the info

the issue is im not getting any power to the diagnostics box to check the codes... i got a guy to have a look at it so just waiting for some free time to drop it off

with mine, the standard dash loom was plugged in and into the box... speedo works... but not rev counter. (big black round plug on passenger side near the ariel is ur rev counter working?

i think its from a celsior. For the moment the ICV has been block so its no longer hunting with the revs.

well with a bit of searching on site, via nemisis' info and planet soarer i think i might have found an issue with it. The ICV has no power going to it. Im going to pull it apart today to have look at it and see how its goes. To make sure, its the black round thing just under the toyota symbol...
