    Standard ECU with Aftermarket Injectors

yup...straight drop in no mods. work perfectly with stock ecu and give a modest 20% increase in flow which when used with an FMU compounds quite nicely

    Electric turbo (one that works)

Before anyone says this is impossible, I have already tested this and am in the process of installing one on my own sc400 and it is a good option for for those who do not have skills to make your own exhaust or choose to retain A/C. I am running a t76 turbo powered by a 12hp(almost 10,000...

    2uzfe in sc400 newb question

Thanks for that? :) I guess what I'm really asking asking is how? For example...we can put vvti heads but....we need manifolds, injectors, throttelbody ,ecu....blah blah blah . What prevents us from running 2uz heads instead of the 1uz? Is the flow better? (assuming 2uz block)

ARP part no for head studs

Can we verify if these will work on 2uzfe?

    2uzfe in sc400 newb question

Sorry if this has been covered but I can't seem to find an answer searching.... Why can't we use entire 2uzfe instead of the 1/2 uzfe combo? Is it just because the 2uz manifold is too tall?Or do you get better HP numbers using the hybrid? Just trying to figure a way pass the restrictive non vvti...

    2uz/3uz Hybrid

I know the 1/2 uzfe has been done multiple times with custom pistons or shaved 2uzfe pistons however, has anyone run a 3uzfe head on a 2uzfe block?I want a Tundra block in a gs430 but I am unsure what issues I would run into with 2uzfe vvti pistons and 3uzfe head valve clearance....Anyone help...

    FMU advice needed

I understand standalones are optimal and a must for high HP but since this is a budget build I will push the envelope with what I have. thanks for your help..... My goal is not to squeeze the most out of this motor, but rather to squeeze the most I can for "cheap".

    FMU advice needed

Perfect.Thats what I needed to know.Thank you This is a 93 sc400 auto. From reading, everyone was saying the ecu relearns original fuel trims when using a SAFC but I have no first hand knowledge of this. Can you recommend a user friendly piggyback that will "stay" tuned?

    FMU advice needed

Can you give me an idea the of the horsepower level on these setups? What is safe? 350whp? 300whp?

    FMU advice needed

I know that AFRs are just 1 key to the puzzle. I blew up a 600hp 2jz with perfect A/R due to lack of timing retard. May I ask what horspower numbers you were running at 8psi? Also, in your experience, what caused the grenaded motors in the examples you mentioned? Lean condition? timing...

    4.7L Newb question

Make sure you are getting VVTi 4.7 2uzfe short block to match your vvti heads......I have nonvvti so I am curious the hp difference before boost with a 4.7 vvti model....

    4.7L Newb question

For bigger boost though you will def needed forged pistons (and standalone, and forged rods, and reinforced transmission, and blah blah blah)

    4.7L Newb question

The amount needed to be removed is .06mm. I will be doing the same....4,7 block with 1uz rods and machined pistons however I am only aiming for 450hp (crank). Shold be fine based off some gs400 members getting 375whp numbers on boost with skinny rods and high compression. This will put you at...
