91 4Runner radiator support panel mod

I have cut away the lower horizontal support panel brace that runs between the left and right guards above the front chassis cross member. This allows me to fit my new 16in fan correctly. I have also removed the vertical support strut between the top and lower sections. Does this...

Any Interest in a Oil Relocation Adaptor Plate?

Is anyone running one of these yet and can the AC pump still be used? I would like one if possible if they are being used successfully - how do I pay? Cheers Matt.

    Dipstick tube with AC compressor

Thanks Peewee, I obviously have the one with the canister! The other models have the tube coming up between the exhaust manifold and the block but the log tubes are too tight. I have reworked the tube to clear and will make a new support bracket for it. Cheers Matt.

    Dipstick tube with AC compressor

Cheers - I wish I had an exhaust like that! Mine has the poxy logs that are jammed against the block. I made a template and have had my existing tube bent to suit and will make a new bracket to secure it. Cheers Matt.

AC pump bolts wtd in NZ

The three bolts I got when I purchased my pump second hand are a bit grotty. Two of them don't wind into the holes very well, only one is usable. Does anyone in NZ have a set of bolts they don't need? I have cleaned them up a bit but they aren't usable. Cheers Matt.

Any Interest in a Oil Relocation Adaptor Plate?

Awesome work. Will these allow the AC pump to be bolted in? What are you doing for the filter end? Cheers Matt.

    Dipstick tube with AC compressor

My 1UZ didn't have the AC pump on it when I got it. I am not fitting the AC pump back on to use as an onboard air source. It bolts right up but the dipstick tube fouls the back of the pump and has to be rerouted. I have the exhaust manifolds that hug the block so the tube cannot come up...

    1UZFE flywheel bolt torque specs

Anyone have any recommended torque settings for the flywheel bolts? The flexplate bolts are specced to 70nm, most V8 flywheels seem to be around 100nm. Cheers Matt.

    What pressure plate lbs??

I am due to replace my clutch and the old one had been slipping a bit due to the pressure plate being a bit light. What lb's are most people running? Stock Hilux's run about 1400, it would seem that about 2000 would be the go. How much extra effort does this place on the clutch leg? Cheers Matt.

    Main Bearing...?

Mid's seem to hit on IFS and SA trucks. The rear seems to work for some SA trucks and usually a front for the IFS trucks. I would be interested in your remote setup. I am looking at doing something similar myself, definitely remote filter but also thinking of a remote resourviour. Matt.

mazda b2500 with lexus v8 conversion

The R150F is in the V6 4wd and the R151F is in the 2.4 Diesel 4wd. You can change to an R154 output shaft and drop the transfer case but they are probably hard to find. Matt.

Intake gasket replacement after starter overhaul

I have a complete factory head gasket set and will use the intake gaskets and injector seals when I put my motor back together after rebuilding the starter. I see the factory head to manifold gaskets are a multi layer item. Is sealer needed anywhere when reassembling the injection and intake...

    IS200 Swap from 1G-FE to 1UZ-FE

I am not running AC but there are no visible markings on my belt so I can't give you a number. They are a 6PKxxxx belt. They are a standard belt, you could use some string and get an approximate length and then go into any auto parts store and they usually have a belt measurement tool which...

    Keepin Your Cool With Alloy

You can't run a shroud when you use pusher fans as you will actually restrict airflow. The shroud on pullers actually increases airflow because you are condensing it and forcing it through the fans and you are starting with a large opening and working down to a small opening so you take a lot...

    Keepin Your Cool With Alloy

Have you got any pics of your setup V8Toy? I can't see how I could get a radiator in between the motor and the radiator, there isn't enough space. Cheers Matt.

truck swaps - how did you do cooling? WANT PIcS

Don't thread hijack Matanga, you have already started two of your own threads. Twisty, have you got the dimensions of that radiator, I am looking to do something similar. Did you need to mod the bottom outlet? Cheers Matt.
