Where people buy their half cuts from?

I didn't buy a half cut but bought just an engine (to try and save some $$$), and I also wanted a front sump. Thought I'd still post the info up here. While I am happy with the engine I got, next time I would probably pay the extra and get a halfcut. Company: Venom Contact Details: Scott...

On the pic below are the vacum hose connections on the power steering pump (above alternator) for the idle up? and also where should the vacum hoses run too? Do you need to have a idle up connected for power steer or will it be fine without? Thanks

Oh ok....Yep it is a front sump, but I'm pretty sure Scott (venom) put Crown exhuast manifold on it, as I supposely need them to fit the 1UZ in my 4Runner. Anyway, thanks for the info.

Couple of Questions about my 1UZFE

Just got a couple of questions about my 1UZ. In the photo below in the two red circles, you can see that on the right side there is a bracket which seems to clamp down on a seal at the back of the cam cover, and on the left side it is missing? Is this needed to make sure that it seals or will it...

    Detailing a 1UZ

I picked up my 1UZ from Scott at Venom yesterday and the motor is a bit dirty for my liking. It wasn't bought as a halfcut it was just an engine. Anyway I want to clean it all up and maybe add some "bling" if possible. So I'm just after any hint or cheap tricks people have got for getting a...

    1UZFE into V6 4Runner with Wolf 3D

1UZFE into V6 4Runner Thought I post a bit of an update on whats happening with my truck. I ditched the Wolf 3D in the end and got Scott at Venom to do me up a loom. I also got my flywheel done by Scott which is lighter than the Dellows flywheel, and he also made it to suit my Std. V6. clutch...

Modifying AC fans for Radiator Fans

What is the length and width or the Ford Falcon Fans? and roughly what kind of $$ are they from the wreckers?? I haven't looked into the thermo fan side of my conversion too much yet, but I think the Falcon ones might be a little bit wide.

    1UZ Into 1990 Nissan Patrol

I'll be keen to find out how hard it is to turn the intake too? It'd save a lot of hassles for dropping it in my 4Runner as I wouldn't have to relocate my battery and I could still use my snorkel which is on the passenger side. The truck goes in next week to widowmaker race engines to get the...

Have WOLF but thinking of going std. ECU

Cool, thanks Zuffen. That was another problem with running the wolf is I would always have to use the same octane or higher petrol, which being a 4x4 becomes a problem when on outback trips. I did get a memory cartridge allowing me to run two maps, but it's going to be a lot less worry and...

Have WOLF but thinking of going std. ECU

Well the WOLF is deffinetly going now. I spoke to Venom in brisbane yesterday and he is doing plug in looms for $700 dollars now. You still have to supply a loom for him, but I reckon for $700 you cant go wrong. Specially to have all guages etc.. working and an engine that runs like factory...
