    Trans cooling

    If your cooler is small enough putting in the area in front of the front wheel is great if you mod the bumper cover a little to allow for maximum flow to the tranny cooler. This way its away from the engine rad and has plenty of air while moving since thats when the tranny needs cooling the most.

    Well check for milky white streaks in the oil when you check the dipstick and also see if the antifreeze looks like chocolate milk.

    The strange shake could be the drive shaft bushings or something is out of balance or mis aligned.

    well remember the tc is only 4 cylinders on one side. PLus it's half the length of the LS. The 2 manifold's and crossover pipe for a single turbo plus full exhaust and ic piping alone could be that much or greater. Then your looking into single or twin turbos as well as engine mamagement...

    I'm not too sure the ls has an idle air controll valve but if it does most likely thats the cause of the erratc revs and idle. And check your relays

    an aftermarket ignition system or maybe booster coil would give you more spark. did you try changing out your coils?

    I had a bad experience with the rmm intake filter on my 2000 celica. The metal cap in the front center actually came off and lodged itself in front of the throttle body butterfly only allowing 1/4 throttle. They were quick to send me a new one though.

    A1 turbos has a itb setup for the 1uz. And filtration is easy as long as you create a plennum for the cones. It's definately not a cheap thing to do but then again what power mod is. We've done itb's to 4ag's KA's and i've seen the setups on pulsars also. Maitenance wise they weren' much...

    it should be fine as long as the hedders are equal length even if they aren't totally equal the engine should be fine. If you're worried about the weight throwing something off it won't. By the firing order you've shown it looks like an x pipe wouldn't be effective 1/2 the time making either...

    it looks like you converted it to a map sensor instead of the factory maf. How difficult was it? I'm considering doing this when i supercharge my ls400.
