Well, I guess I'm gonna try some Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak and see how that goes. I'm sure that i can cut the O2 sensors out and get them into new pipes, any better ideas are still appreciated.

I've got a V12 beemer and it's got way more of a bad-ass factor than anything else.

So the exhaust pipes directly behind my cat are rusting through, bad enough that my O2 sensor is messing up my fuel ratio and causing me to run super rich. Could i just cut the sensors out and put them into new pipes? maybe even take the next resonator off for a bit of a more bad-ass sound...

I said a while ago i would put up some repainting and repair pictures, so here we are.

I think my car does eat power steering fluid, so I'll take a look at this. I'm on vacation for the next 6 days, but after that I'll check. I also think i'm getting worse fuel mileage atm, but i could be playing tricks on myself.

It's different than an SL, this is a cruiser. And this has upgraded rims, it comes with 18's and new Toyo performance summers which is nice.

Well, a car like this is more a preference thing, nobody could tell me any car is better than any other, I like this car better than my SL, and i know a lot of people would call me crazy... preference people! I'm going to black out the windows and keep everything stock.

manifold gasket have anything to do with it in any shape or form?

I start the car and it gives a serious puff of smoke as it starts. It runs perfectly, but smokes on start, i don't think it's done so much in the past.

My SL isn't too bad for repair, but the warranty is up in July of next year i think. Save up for the CL then, I'm about to be driving my dream! I'll post some sexy pictures of my cars modeling for the camera as soon as the 8 arrives ;)

I'm going to get it shipped via SeaRail and I should have it by the 20th. I have a Mercedes SL550 2008. I can't wait for the beemer to get out here I'm going to be down south for the week during shipping so hopefully it'll go by okay!

I don't want to put the 3000 miles on the car especially as Canadian roads are going to be dismally dirty and broken up this time of year. A road trip like that is best saved for july-ish!

It's not so much a HP monster as it is big on torque. It is only a Ci, but I'm after this car for the looks and the fact I still dream about it. I got a great deal on a Mercedes SL at a repo auction last year, so I'm quite content in the speed department. I'm really looking for something now...

So after a preliminary check-out she's got a broken gas gage, the guy said that it got stuck or something? I'm going to have to take a closer look at that. the front left bushings are going to need to be replaced, but that's not really an issue. Everything else looks good, next step is a carfax...

I think an engine rebuild would be in order, however i don't think i'd want to do a swap with the 5L bmw V12, it's an awfully pretty engine as is. this is the car now, I've really got no clue if I'm going to go through with it yet, but it is a beautiful car!
