    thanks again. Your reasoning is very similar to my own. Realistically i have been trying to convince myself that an NA 1uzfe will be powerfull enough. Just scared of a lack of torque.... hopefully the modifications will remedy that..

    Thanks mate, all good info... yeah the only thing that worries me about using a 1uzfe would be down low torque. From my experience they seem to lack the low down punch of the bigger V8s i have been in... i enjoy the top end revs in the 1uzfe but im hoping to have the best of both worlds...

    i know this may not interest u guys but economy maybe something to think about with 6th gear.... 6 means u can put a extremely high diff gear in and still have a low RPM in 6th gear at cruising speeds.. A case point would be the t56 in the holden commodores.... the 6th gear has a ratio...

    90+ LS400 and SC400 had the 200kw 357NM 1UZFE 98-99 Celsior had the VVT 210kW 400NM 1UZFE I am considering doing a conversion at a later date and im in the research phase. What ever engine i choice i will be running a manual behind it and as such i will most likely use a aftermarket...

    Whats the laws for conversions in victoria, Australia of course ???? is there a capacity limit per car weight?? is there any rules in particular ??? say a stock car weights 1250.. and u wonna shove a different engine in there what are the rules... Like can you shove any capacity...

    Thanks for the helpful information.... yeah the nissan VH45 have extremely good heads but a weak bottom end. Both the 1UZ and LS1 have 6 bolt mains and are extremely strong. There are guys on LS1.com.au driving round with 440rwkW with stock bottom ends and have done so for a long time without...

    yes ls1 has 6 bolt mains. yes youn can rev an ls1 safely to 7000rpm + depending on work done. im here to find out more about the 1UZ-FE. The reason i ask about comparing it to an LS1 is because its an engine in know fairly well.
