    Just out of curiousity, My 92 LS400 motor had two of these. The wiring diagram on the main web page says one is the EGR solenoid and the other is the fuel pressure solenoid. On mine the EGR solenoid had a black/red and a green/red wire. Not to sound negative but maybe you should double...

    Couple of Questions about my 1UZFE

    Peewee is right. The hole on the rear of the intake manifold is for the EGR cooler tube. It connects from there to the exhaust manifold. The cover on the side where Peewee is talking about is actually where US cars have the EGR valve. Good call!

    I am almost finished wiring up the 1UZ from a 92 LS400 into my 82 Supra. I had to replace the ignitor plugs since they were missing and damaged. I have followed the wiring diagrams on the main page and the forums (thanks Kdog). But I want to make sure I have the ignitors hooked up correctly...

    Concur, thermostat on bottom hose. Straight out pipe to top hose. Unless you are getting a custom crossflow radiator.
