see if you can jump for codes. I know on a SC I just worked on ran really rough, wouldn't rev past 4K. I tried to check codes and nothing. Swapped in known good ecu and it ran great after that.

modified chevy 5.7 rods? Wow that's different, care to talk a bit more about them??

yeah i heard it was pretty common in the 2uz for the rods to go, but I figured for 60 dollars I really couldn't beat it.

How much are the mounts going for? I've been debating this because I found a 2uz block pretty close for a decent amount of money, and of course the rods are shot. Also, can I just use the 1uz's rods and pistons? I want to do it as cheap as possible, I'm not looking for a lot more power, just...
